we did it. or should i say, connie did it! nolan got his first haircut on tuesday of last week. i've been avoiding the situation for fear that i'd lose the curls that have made looking at the back of his head so fun the past few months. however, there comes a point when you have to weigh things you want as a parent vs. the quality of life your babies are experiencing. he cannot control what his hair looks like and because the shagginess of overgrown baby hair was starting to get in the way of his adorable face, i figured it was time to help a little man out. anyway, the whole process was a bit of an experience for me. i wasn't expecting the anticipation i had all day wondering what my little darling would look like in the end. connie, of course, was amazing with nolan and gave him the exact cut that i'm SURE he would have chosen had he been able to talk about it with me first. read on for all the drama ;)
